A blessing is a powerful passive effect granted for the rest of a run. They come in two forms: Star Blessings, which are weaker but almost strictly positive, and Black Hole Blessings, which are stronger but come with a drawback. Each blessing has a unique icon representing it, and active blessings can be seen in the top left of the screen.

Acquiring Star Blessings
Star blessings can be obtained from a Star Telescope node, from a shrine by sacrificing a Heart, by triumphing in Hard fights, and from certain events.
