Haywire Thopter offers the Hornet Dust.pngHornet Dust, Electrostatic Field.pngElectrostatic Field, Wind Glide.pngWind Glide, Doubt Dispeller.pngDoubt Dispeller, Thunderstorm.pngThunderstorm, and Meteor Rain.pngMeteor Rain actions to the player, allowing them to catalyse nearly any combo available to them.

It is best to have some Precision.pngPrecision Dice in the Astrarium or the Autonomous Beacon.pngAutonomous Beacon as the other Sentinel so that the player can select exactly the action they need instead of relying on exceptional amounts of luck; alternatively, the Artisan Staff.pngArtisan Staff or the Lacertian Laboratory Event can be used to grant it ∞Boost.pngBoost so that there are two dice that get rolled each turn instead of one.

Having Dodge.pngDodge by default, this Sentinel can be used to help activate Apian Drone.pngApian Drone for additional dice each turn.
