Lunar Refractor has a die that offers Convert, and eventually, Manipulate, giving some Moonie-style risky safeguarding for other Oracles, and extra backup to Moonie.

Interactions

Lunar Refractor is extremely useful for Cellarius, enabling less risky plays with big self-corrupt dice, and removing the difficulty-of-use of dice such as Voracious Sense's Corrupt 8 faces. Additionally, it safeguards you against any Doom that gets applied to you.

Lunar Refractor is substantially less useful for Austra, Sothis, and Orion, as they do not have many corruption mechanics in their dice pools that can be converted.

• A notable exception is Random Corrupt, which can be converted, and is especially good with Unstable Clouds in Aerial Needle engines, and safeguarding the first turn with Daydreams Mask.
